I remember fireflies & a warm summer night in NY I remember laughing & playing in the backyard in my sundress I remember when my Grandpa made a swing in the tree by the driveway I remember how he would call me a Texas Punk I remember how I would make ornaments with my Grandma I remember hearing about how my Grandpa's arteries were clogged I remember how hearing how he might not see next year I remember when my Grandma fell and hit her head I remember hearing that she might have dementia I remember crying in my room so my Mom wouldn't see I remember doing that so I could be strong for her I wish I didn't remember.
